Abstract
Storytelling is a successful method that the Holy Qur'an and the Infallibles, peace be upon them, have used many times in their preaching work. In this article, the Qur'anic story of "The Cow of the Children of Israel", which is briefly mentioned in Qur’an 2 [Surah Al-Baqarah] and detail in narrative and Qur’anic exegetical sources, has been selected and the dramatic elements in the said narrative have been analyzed. 
The finding of this research, which was carried out using a descriptive-analytical method, is that in this story, there are at least seventeen dramatic elements (plot, character, primary balance, stimulating incident, plan, obstacle, conflict, suspense, knotting, surprise, climax, dialogue, place, time, secondary balance and sub-story). Therefore, considering the abundance and diversity of these elements compared to some Quranic stories, it can be a suitable source for creating an artistic work
