One of the most important methods of the Qur'an in expressing divine beliefs and knowledge is the method of storytelling. This method can attract everyone's attention and fascinate them with their concepts. The stories of the Qur'an are not just stories and entertainment, but are humanizing and instructive teachings in the form of stories that guide us to the right path and this stories are, of course, beautiful and fascinating; Because in them all kinds of stories exist, like: family, struggle and victory, emotional and etc. The story of Prophet Joseph is one of the beautiful and fascinating stories of the Qur'an that is common between the Qur'an and the Torah. Of course, there is a big difference between the type of storytelling and the characters of this story in the Qur'an and the Torah, and the way the Qur'an looks at this story shows the legitimacy of this divine book; Because he tells the story without any ugly scenes or slandering the prophets and speaking ill of them. In this article, by comparative study between the Qur'an and the Torah in this story, and using the books of commentaries, etc., we have achieved the similarities and differences between the two books in narrating the story, each of which reveals great truths about the Qur'an in its own way.
