Abstract
The issue of attributing evil and goodness to God is considered as a branch of the issue of predestination and free will; Therefore, lack of proper knowledge of it causes fundamental misunderstandings in the beliefs of each person. The present article, with a descriptive-comparative method, seeks to answer the question of the concept of evil and how it is attributed to God from the perspective of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli and Mr. Fakhr Razi. In some verses, such as: verse 78 of Surah An-Nisa ', good and evil are mentioned by God; But in some other verses, the Qur'an distinguishes between the two and considers the good from God and the evil from man; For example: in verse 79 of Surah An-Nisa 'which we are discussing in this article. The result is that, according to Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, all goodness and evil are from God Almighty, and since God is the source of all goodness and mercy, goodness is not only from God but also from God. But evil is only from God (مِن عِندِالله); (78 / An-Nisa '), but not from God Almighty; Rather, the immediate cause is the actions of man himself. While Fakhr-e-Razi, by accepting the view of "Kasb", considers the attribution of good and evil to God as real and considers the documents of evil to man as "observance of politeness" or "denial inquiry".
